The impact
The establishment of this cluster at AMDI covers four(4) areas/subdivisions ie.

Nutrition,
-
Spiritual and
-
Habitual.
Each of these areas/subdivisions are interrelated and have a role to play within the communities’ sustainable health development efforts.
As the cluster is still in the infancy stage, a number of projects are in the pipeline to promote sustainable health development in communities. Equipment is being procured, which will support the research towards the end of 2009. We are also recruiting more academic staff and welcome postgraduate students to conduct research in the various cross-disciplinary and trans disciplinary areas as well as and enhance relevant services.
