The Advanced Medical and Dental Institute (AMDI) Medical services was officially launched on 3rd February 2006 by the Director, Dr Haji Ramli Saad. The services began with Oncology Clinic, Staff Clinic, Well Women's Clinic and Diagnostic Services. These gradually increased to include other clinical disciplines namely Paediatrics, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Research-CTU and Family Health. Oral Health Clinic has started the services on 1st September 2006. For the time being, it is only open for AMDI staff.

Services commenced on 20th September 2004. Personnel include :-

• Medical & Dental Specialists
• Trainee Lecturers
• Medical & Dental Officers
• Science Officers
• Medical & Dental Technologists
• Radiographers
• Nurses
• Pharmacy Staffs
• Other Support Staffs

 Clinical services offered in AMDI Clinical Centre and Kepala Batas Hospital.

1. Patients who wish to see a doctor, will have to go to the registration counter.

2. You must be ready with the following documents for registration :-
   • Identification card
   • Birth Certificate (for children below 12 years old)
   • Passport
   • Provide your latest address (must be complete)
   • Appointment card (for patients who have already registered) 

To get services from a specific clinic, you must have :-

• A referral letter from any doctor / General Practitioner (Private or Government)
• An Appointment
• Adhere to the appointment given. Call the clinic prior to the appointment date if you wish to change your appointment date.

When coming to the clinic at the appointed date, please bring along :-

• Referral letter
• Identification card
• Copy of your Pension Card if you are Pensioner
• Guarantee Letter from your employer
• Be sure to prepared for any procedures
