The Department is lead by the Deputy Director (Management). It’s functions is to aid Advanced Medical and Dental Institute (AMDI), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in on Human Resource, Human Resource Development, Job Scheme & Policies, Administration and Staff Relations in line with the Registrar Office of USM and also Public Civil Services of Malaysia.

Academic Staff Training Scheme (ASTS)
This scheme is to award educational scholarship to produce academicians and researchers for the University. In the case of AMDI, the scheme is for deserving Malaysian to pursue their Masters and PhD in the field of medical, health and dental sciences. Trainee Lecturer Scheme
It is a scholarship for Malaysian to pursue their specialist degree in the field of medicine. This scholarship if offered to medical doctors who are interested to become a medical lecturer with the University. For further enquiries please contact us at the Management Office of AMDI.
